Abstract |
This study was investigated to determine the residual amount of teflubenzuron using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultra violet detector (UVD) and to assess the standard for safe use of this chemical in the peach. Teflubenzuron is used to control the Grapholita molesta on the peach. Recoveries obtained from two concentrations were 89.37% and 83.62%, respectively. The residual amount of teflubenzuron from the peach harvested 7, 14 and 21 days after treated 2 and 3-times were ranged from 0.04 to 0.21 mg kg-1. Because the maximum residue limit (MRL) of teflubenzuron in the peach is 1.0 mg kg-1, it is proposed for these chemicals to apply 3 times, 14 days before harvest in Korea
