‘Sungold’ peaches. Different frequencies of summer pruning was shown to have little influence on the fruit
coloration, but no sufficient evidence was found to support enhancing the fruit coloration. By contrast, it was found
that the more summer pruning were, the more fruit quality increased. Hence, summer pruning from May to July may
be useful for improving fruit quality of 'Takinosawa Gold’ and ‘Sungold’ peaches.
